Welcome to Bounce Academy!

Get ready to embark on an exciting journey with our Bounce Basketball Academy, where boys and girls in year groups 1 - 8, aged between 5 yrs - 12 yrs, can unleash their basketball potential!

Located at the Massey University Teaching Gymnasium in Palmerston North, our Academy offers a supportive, encouraging and fun environment for our members.

How we do things at Bounce Academy!

  • Ages 5yrs - 6yrs

    Years 1 & 2

    Sundays: 9am - 9:45am

    If you're wondering what our MINI sessions entail, you're in for a treat! Our coaches guide our MINI ballers through exciting basketball drills and games, helping them develop their catching, passing and dribbling skills through movement and spatial exercises. Fun is the name of the game when it comes to our MINI ballers.

  • Ages 7yrs - 8yrs

    Years 3 & 4

    Sundays: 10am - 10:45am

    At Bounce Academy, our JUNIOR sessions are all about guiding your child toward their full potential. From refining their shooting technique to enhancing their own set of skills, our coaches will provide effective training techniques to take your child's game to the next level. The desire to improve will be enabled in the JUNIOR sessions!

  • Ages 9yrs - 10yrs

    Years 5 & 6

    Sundays: 11am - 12:30pm

    The Bounce Academy PRO sessions are designed to ignite your child's passion for the sport. Through a combination of challenging individual and team oriented drills, your child will improve their basketball skills while growing their competitive spirit with their Bounce Academy PRO team mates.

  • Ages 11yrs - 12yrs

    Years 7 & 8

    Sundays: 1pm - 2:30pm

    The ALL-STAR sessions are where our young athletes learn the discipline and work ethic required to be successful on and off the court. At Bounce Academy success is measured in many ways and our experienced coaches will help your child discover their success. The ALL-STAR level is where learning smarter prepares our athletes to fulfill their potential.
